QA - Quality Assurance. Quality. Assurance. What do these words mean for Delayed Games, you ask? Answer: EVERYTHING! To understand why, we'll first need to take a step back and discuss just what it means to play a video game.

To play a video game, the highest form of interactive media, is to be given the choice to play however you (and only YOU) choose to. Unlike in a movie, you as a player have the choice to completely direct the script.

Q: Can I choose to instead turn around and sprint backwards, never allowing my friends nor foes to see my beautiful mug?

A: You can! (Disclaimer: This may or may not guarantee absolute failure in Super Nova Party's battle minigame)

Q: Can I jump on a box 1001 times, in time with a-ha's Take On Me? A: So needless to say, yes!

Q: Can I try my absolute darnest to escape the level you've created for me, taking a peek into the infinite abyss just over the horizon?

A: Just remember, it stares back...

The point is, there are lot of different ways to play a video game! No two people's play style will ever be the exact same. That's the beauty, DON'T YOU GET IT?

You get it. Now you'll get QA's role: to make sure a game is ready for every possible way that you or your friends might choose to play it. If a QA Tester tries a play style and it breaks the game, it's time to add it to the bug list for the developers to fix! Only after round after round after round of this invaluable testing (attempted breaking) will a video game truly mature into what it's meant to be - what it's meant to offer.

So everybody wish Super Nova Party a lot of luck, because in just T-51 days he'll be old enough to face the music...all on his own ;(

No more time to be wasting,
